Fleeing famine in her hometown of Bethlehem, Naomi settles with her family in the neighbouring country of Moab. However, when her husband and two sons die, she decides to return home. With her faith shaken, she finds herself a stranger in her homeland. Thus begins the struggle to find her place in society, and ultimately to find the hope that will help her sing again. Based on the Book of Ruth, this play deals with the timeless themes of faith, doubt, despair, hope and redemption.
